Miami nonprofit Neat Stuff to host costume
giveaway for needy children
By ELAINE DE VALLE
For some families, a $25 to $50 Batman or
cheerleader costume for Halloween is a
luxury. But that doesn't mean their children
can't trick or treat.
Thanks to Neat Stuff, a nonprofit that
distributes new clothes to foster and poor
children, at least 200 children who would
have gone without costumes will be nurses
and pop stars and police officers.
On Friday and Saturday, the agency, which
operates a store in Allapattah, will hold an
open house and costume giveaway.
